Twelve months, six phases
A plan that ends with you not needing me
Nothing here happens in a vacuum. Your team uses the software while it's being built, learns the tooling as it's assembled, and cuts over only after the data has been proven.
- Month 1
Discovery & data audit
- Shadow dispatch, office, and field workflows end to end
- Inventory every report, integration, and workaround you depend on
- Export and profile your current platform's data: customers, locations, equipment, history, pricebook
- Written system design and a prioritized build order you sign off on
- Month 2
Backend foundations
- Create and configure every account your software needs, under your company's ownership
- Repository, environments, database schema, authentication, and roles
- Email and SMS sending domains verified; payments and accounting connections opened
- You get access to the client setup guide and we work through it together
- Months 3–5
Core FSM build
- Customers, locations, and equipment records
- Scheduling, dispatch board, and job lifecycle
- Pricebook, estimates, invoicing, and payment collection
- Your office team starts using it in parallel with the old system
- Months 5–7
Field & mobile
- Technician mobile app with offline capability
- Photos, forms, arrival/complete timestamps, and customer signatures
- Push and SMS notifications for dispatch and customer 'on the way' alerts
- Field pilot with a few technicians, then the full crew
- Months 7–9
Migration & cutover
- Full historical data migration with validation and diff reports
- Inventory, service agreements, recurring billing, and commissions live
- Accounting sync verified against a real close
- Cutover weekend, then cancel your SaaS renewal
- Months 10–12
Training & handoff
- Hands-on Lovable training: how to change, test, and deploy your own software
- Runbooks for support, backups, releases, and incident response
- Ownership transfer checklist signed off account by account
- Final month is you driving, me on the passenger side
Month 13
Your license fee is $0 and the software is on your balance sheet
No renewal conversation. No seat audit. If you want me back for a specific project later, hire me for that project.
